Before entering the consulting world, Emily wrote about a wide range of topics relating to sustainability, from farming practices to LEED-certified buildings. Her published pieces include contributions to Sustainable Industries Journal and “Worldchanging: A User’s Guide to the 21st Century.” She was also a key part of the Food Systems Working Group of City of Seattle’s Carbon Neutral Initiative, which involved developing recommendations for City Council on reducing the negative environmental impacts of food production, transportation, and consumption.
After spending her whole life in the Pacific Northwest, Emily has recently relocated to Luxembourg — another verdant locale — where she spends her free time exploring European sites, learning French, and sampling fine chocolates.
