PROJECT: Product and Supply Chain Eco-Footprint

CLIENT’S NEED: Brooks wanted an environmental footprint of their products and supply chain to understand their “hotspot” issues and opportunities for improvement.

Shift Advantage generated an “Eco-Footprint” of the designs, feedstock materials, manufacturing processes, and packaging associated with Brooks’ popular apparel and footwear products.
APPROACH: Shift Advantage assessed Books most popular footwear and apparel products. We worked with Brooks’ product creation and sourcing teams, as well as their manufacturers, material suppliers, and packaging vendors to collect data. We then analyzed the data to developed relevant and clear information for Brooks.

RESULTS: Shift Advantage generated an “Eco-Footprint” of the designs, feedstock materials, manufacturing processes, and packaging associated with Brooks’ popular apparel and footwear products. We created reports and PowerPoint slides with a summary of the results and specific action items and next steps. Shift Advantage facilitated sessions with Brooks’ leadership and decision makers to ensure there was an understanding of the results, and to create relevant goals and action plans for each department.
